Going to a funeral is the hardest thing to do. especially when it revolves someone you knew when you're young, a person you're kinda close with, a father figure and a lovely person. My friend's dad just passed away, so it saddens me to hear it. Someone who really talked to me, never failed to ask me how am i doing whenever he sees me, always smiling and easy to talk to. Upon this i realise two things:

Life is too short and too precious to be left in waste. We don't know when and how are we going to die, so let us just don't assume that we are going to live a 100 years and that God will grant us a 100 years in earth so that we can "hoo-hah" our butts off unless you're really dedicated to the Great Commission, maybe you can ask God to prolong your days on earth. But let me tell you, don't think you're good doesn't mean God can't take your life away. When time is up, its up and we will never know when is our time coming. Only God which controls the time, will tell.

The other thing would be: No one can ever stop a guy doing what they do best, which is engaging in sports if they are into it. Take example dexter, after breaking his leg, now playing football just after 2 months or more, Andrew, kicking and screaming after few months of surgery, never learn their lesson. Basically, no one can rob a guy from their love of sports regardless you're their wife, broken bones or body, sickness or any other unmentioned ways. Guys will be guys, stubborn as crap!
